Getting rejected sucks. Lalo na kung pinag-effortan mo yung resume, cover letter, at portfolio mo, tapos ang ending… no reply. Minsan mapapaisip ka pa, “Baka hindi talaga ako qualified.” Pero the truth is, every day, clients receive hundreds of applications, and most of them don’t get selected. That doesn’t automatically mean you’re a bad candidate. It usually means someone else was a better fit for that specific role. Here’s what I’d do after every rejection. Hindi ako agad magsesend ng 20 pang applications. I’d stop for a bit and figure out what I can improve first. Maybe my resume isn’t highlighting the right skills. Maybe my portfolio needs stronger projects, or baka pare-pareho lang yung cover letter na sinisend ko sa bawat client. I’d also look beyond job portals. I’d improve my LinkedIn profile, connect with recruiters and business owners, ask for referrals, and start building relationships instead of waiting for opportunities. This is exactly how I’d use the Josie AI app. I’d use it to improve my resume, build portfolio projects, practice interviews, and learn better ways to find clients. Then I’d use the Claude and ChatGPT prompt libraries to write better applications, optimize my LinkedIn profile, and personalize every client message. Every rejection is feedback. Every improvement gives you a better chance on the next application. You only need one client to say yes. Download Josie AI app to help you get clients and start your VA career.
