I cannot thank every single one of you enough for all of the love overpourning into buddys life right now. 🥹 You all are so sweet and he loves you all. To begin I got buddy back in 2019. If anyone knows buddy you know he is the sweetest boy and he’s very attached to me anywhere I go, he goes. He loves everyone and will grab a toy or blankey to greet anyone who comes in the door. he’s right by my side always. He’s very attentive and loving. Buddy has been through a lot in his life and since i saved him ive tried my best to give him the best life possible. He turned 10 thismonth and has recently had some health issues arise. About a monthago he started having seizures out of nowhere, he had 3 in one day. He was completely non responsive, and losing his bladder we rushed him to an emergency vet and they deemed it as some kind of toxicity since he got in the trash the day before. (We left to go see some friends and it was the first time since we got the puppy and buddy helped himself to the trash can) so a few days past and he started acting normal again. Unfortunately he started having bowel movements with substantial amounts of blood. We were very worried so we immediately took him to a new vet they helped out so much! The last vet was wrong about the diagnoses and the new vet was extremely helpful and kind. They wanted to figure out what was really going on. They did some X-rays and thankfully found no blockage but found out that his gi tract was inflamed and he is now on medicine to help him! We unfortunately also found out he has a grade 2/6 heart murmur, the vet said “did you know he has a heart murmur” my heart dropped because I had no idea. She also said that is most likely the cause of the seizures because his heart was working too hard. She said she really wants us to get him cardiographs to check his heart and find the reason for the murmur. She gave us the actual estimate of what the heart specialist prices are and it is $700. We really need to get this done soon and we don’t have the funds to be able to do it.
