(Natural) Rainbow Grilled Cheese! 🌈⬇️ 🧀 Using only natural colours from vegetable juices and turmeric! 🤯 🙌🏼 This was SO fun to make, and bonus- the flavours worked so well together! INGREDIENTS - 2 large slices of white bread - 1/2 cup finely grated cheese, packed - 💜: 1/8 raw red cabbage - 🩷: 1 steamed beetroot - 🧡: 2 raw carrots - 💛: 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric - 💚: handful of spinach - butter, for the outside of the bread METHOD 1. Individually blend each of each of the vegetables, then strain them through a sieve to collect the respective juices. Mix the ground turmeric with two teaspoons of water. 2. Divide the grated cheese into five small bowls. Mix each portion of cheese with two teaspoons of each of the natural dyes, ensuring even coating. 3. Take two slices of bread and spread butter on the outside of each piece. Arrange the coloured cheese in stripes on a non-buttered side, then top with the other slice. 4. Use a sandwich press to cook the grilled cheese until golden. Alternatively, heat a pan over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook until the bread is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden, and until the cheese is fully melted. 5.
