Before you give up completely…try removing any excess foundation from the lips! I swear the foundation messes with it and makes it weird

It would look more fitting if the eye look was more natural and instead of swiping the lipstick tap it on gently and add a gloss ontop

I think it's just the fact that it looks more like a lip tint/balm than a lipstick, that might be why you don't like it as much

I think some of the other commenters are correct. Black honey might look better with a softer eye. It’s ok if it’s not your thing. I love the color.
