South Korean YouTuber Inonyang, a.k.a Ino Cat, posted a video of herself attending the World Cup match between South Korea and the Czech Republic at Estadio Guadalajara in Mexico on Jun. 12. In the video, a man wearing a Mexico shirt is seen making a slant-eye gesture toward her camera. "When you experienced racism at the World Cup," read the caption in her clip. The video quickly went viral, drawing criticism from both Korean and international netizens. Many Mexican fans also flooded the comments section with messages of apology, denouncing the man's behaviour and calling for him to be held accountable. According to some Mexican media, the man has allegedly been identified as the president of the College of Topographic and Geomatic Engineers in Jalisco. #mothershipabroad
