Some are carrying regret about decisions they made years ago. **But having a sexual past doesn't mean you have to continue making the same choices.** And having children doesn't make your decision to abstain any less meaningful. The Bible calls believers to sexual purity, but it also teaches us about repentance, forgiveness and grace. 1 John 1:9 reminds us that God is faithful to forgive those who confess their sins. You don't have to pretend your past never happened to make a different decision about your future. And you don't have to be ashamed of telling someone that your convictions have changed. **A woman can be a mother and still choose to wait until marriage.
