I had the same exact problem. This helped out a ton. I wasn’t sure how to get the metal discount at first, but it was pretty easy. I was about ready to take this thing back and get a new one before I found your video.

Same thing here! I bought it from the store brand new just now. The sales person said you’ll never have to take the head apart. I started using it and the string stopped coming out. And I figured OK maybe they just didn’t put much in there from the factory. Turns out it was the same exact issue you had whoever wounded up had no idea what they were doing, and it was jammed in there. I could not pull it out just like you with a little bit sticking out on one side, I did the same exact thing and popped out the metal disc and voilà. I got it out. Awesome thank you so much.!!
