ants and birds eat aphids so spraying them on the ground helps! If you squish them they release a pheromone that attracts ladybugs

I have 20 roses in very tight area. Aphids are a nightmare. However, yearly I buy 500 ladybug larvae. clears my roses and entire neighborhood.
