98.5-02 had an electric lift pump on the left side of the block which was a very common failure. Dodge’s remedy was to move it to the tank.

False on lift pump. I had a 02 it did have lift pump. Push pump was put on ones that had pump failure under warranty

ISB return fuel. There is a return port on the back of the head, side of the pump sending hot fuel back to the tank. Yes no rail but the head is hot

The 01/02 Ram Isb 5.9 didn’t see the vp44 failures like previous years because of those push pumps being more reliable too

6.0 power stroke don’t care if you run it out of fuel did that with our last one many times because it didn’t read accurately
