I have had to teach my husband that houmous doesn't expire. always use a clean knife and pouring olive oil over it will seal it for longer 😁

I think maybe it’s the introduction of other foods ie carrots or bread sticks that cross contaminate and cause it to go sour

This isn’t always the case with Humous, there are times when it comes to used by date when it’s spilts and pot blows and it’s become inedible

I've been drinking milk that "went out of date" on the 17th May (its now the 27th) and it smells fine and tastes normal 😅
