Do that, but keep the blanket wet w/ a small fan! worked with our kids. Sticking my arm under it I could feel the temp drop due to evaporation.

Oh wow! Raised all 5 of my children with the blanket as shade but the stroller had a couple openings to get air.

I would argue the blanket used, we had those thin Muslin blankets and seemed to be fine, would check on little on during naps and make sure not 🥵

I used a thin muslin blanket but leave the sides open so that air goes in. Used clips to hold the sides up.
