Let the sugar caramelize before adding the meat. Sear for 5-7 minutes until browned. 3️⃣ Meanwhile, chop the peppers, onions, and garlic. 4️⃣ Add water to the pan, cover, and let it cook for 30-40 minutes until the meat softens. 5️⃣ Stir in minced garlic, peppers, onions, and tomato sauce. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes. The cook time and water amount may vary based on how much steak you’re making. If the meat isn’t tender enough, just add a little more water and let it cook longer.
