I hook the metal ring on the end of the strap to the hook because your way you can just undo the strap and leave with the helmet

usually you get a wrapped cable that is in the pillion seat that you thread through the open visor and hook it like that so it cant be stolen.

yes I know my helmet is upside down, it's hard to do one handed. yes it's secure enough using the strap, I've tried to undo it.

My 1999 Aprilia 125RS had that. My current bike comes with a loop of cable you can put through that would be knife proof

use the d ring.. itll sit the helmet the right way up so it dosent fill with water 😘

Some bikes, if you pull the seat hard enough while jiggling it, it'll pop right out of the lock. Screwing the latches tighter makes it harder though.

You don’t have to use your key to put the seat back on, that’s why the dooeywack is pointy so you can just press down on the seat and it will lock in
