High quality paint should not be thinned. If that’s why the sprayer was wasn’t working try a tip with wider orifice.

girl maybe just cut out the beam like a foot. then u can spray and use ur card board broom situation to make sure no splatters😁

Don’t roll! They make extension wands. I have that sprayer too and the extension wand works great. You can buy online or at a home improvement store.

Was the paint kinda gritty? I used to work in paint manufacturing. It’s a thing. Maybe try a different paint lot number. You shouldnt have to thin it.

in the UK you can hire scaffold towers so you can reach the ceiling! I'm sure the us will have some sort of equivalent ☺️

Check into renting a scissor lift! You can press a button and get right up to the ceiling! You can have it delivered!

Rent or purchase scaffolding. With those high ceilings it will save time & be much safer.

I would just roll the ceiling! Just make sure you have or rent a platform/ladder that will be able to get you close so you can see any missed spots!
