Because the first time you see the shower monster, you panic. Then it happens again. And again. Until somehow, losing handfuls of hair becomes your “normal.” I’m here to tell you: your body deserves more curiosity than that. The shower drain should not be where you go to casually count how much hair you’re losing. 😅 The first time it happens, you think: Okay… that was weird. Then it keeps happening. And eventually, you stop questioning it. You just start buying thicker hair products, taking a random biotin supplement, putting your hair in a ponytail, and hoping nobody notices. But hair loss can be your body’s way of telling you something underneath needs attention. And there isn't always one obvious cause. It can be connected to: → nutrient deficiencies
→ thyroid dysfunction
→ hormonal shifts
→ perimenopause
→ chronic stress
→ inflammation
→ immune dysregulation
→ blood sugar or metabolic dysfunction
→ gut dysfunction and impaired nutrient absorption
→ changes in estrogen or progesterone
→ illness or physiological stress
→ certain medications or other underlying conditions And sometimes? It’s not the hair that needs the most attention. It’s what your body is trying to tell you through the hair loss. This is why I don't want you throwing five supplements at the problem and hoping one magically works. I want to understand why your body is doing this in the first place. Because whether your root cause is hormonal, nutritional, metabolic, immune, gut-related, stress-related, or a combination of several things, there is a bigger picture worth looking at. You don't have to normalize symptoms just because you've learned how to live with them. This is exactly why I do the work I do. Where women heal deeply. Follow me on Instagram @thewholesome.woman for the latest and life insights! If your body has been sending you signals you can't quite decode, DM me CLARITY, and I'll send you the next step. #autoimmunedisease #brainfog #chronicfatigue #hairloss #chronicillness
