Baby’s vitals need to be taken at 30 mins of life. Mamas temps can drop during labor & baby can’t regulate their own temp. Cold babies go bad quickly!

As a nurse I have done everything except measurements , yes even newborn shots(with consents) , while baby is still with mom. May have to adjust baby
