Disappointing you were not seen 6 months after your loop. Had the same, re-test 6 months, a year, then every 3 years. Good luck

Every sexual active woman no matter age needs to have a smear test. I was told to have one every year by an European doctor but in UK at 3 years.

If they refuse an early smear then request a referral to a gyne at your local hospital. It's just silly that you have symptoms and they say no.
