The 1925 Council House :
The summerhouse was sold as pre-treated and anti-rot so we assumed it was already waterproof. It was spring when we bought it as well so not much rain

Fit a gutter with pipe going away from the summer room. Wood is a sponge, even with a good base, if it’s wet all the time, wood will rot.
