@kindofgay97: This video is kind of long, You can ship ahead to see my favorite grounding technique. It doesn’t look like much is going on but I’m fighting to keep myself from hyperventilating. I’m pretty decent at recognizing when one is starting and fighting them off but it takes a lot of energy. I’m not sure what triggered this one but I’ve been getting sick a lot and not eating which definitely contribute to it. Remember that’s it’s ok not to be ok and that most of the times these feelings will pass. It’s just a part of being human especially in this day and age. Love you all 💙💙 #fyp #anxietyrelief #calming #groundingtechique #grounding #ice #anxietyattackawareness #MentalHealth #mentalhealthmatters #itsokaytonotbeokay

Literally everything you did, I do. I can't leave the house due to the anxiety and panic attacks.. I had to ask someone at a restaurant in a drive

I totally get it. I never thought to use ice thanks for the tip. I have an anxiety ring that I constantly play with to keep me distracted.

I chug a small bottle of ice cold water and put one on my sternum helps a lot. I also find 5 things that are each color of the rainbow and breath. 🥰

I like to use the 5 texture method. Just touching 5 different textures helps me ground myself usuallh

A substitute for the ice is to keep salt packets on you at all times and when you get an anxiety attack, dump one on your tongue to help with grounding
