Pediatricain told us this Summer of 2021. I asked if pools were safe and he was more worried about the sun and her being in shade and covered up!

Per a tik tok i saw… a pediatrician posted it’s bc babies do not sweat well therefore cannot cool down well that’s why they just don’t want them in the sun

I’ve heard sunscreen is better than sunburn if clothing and shade aren’t available. But we are using mineral sunscreen anyways 🥰

Our pediatrician told us we could use it before 6 months! 😅 She said they gave put out new info on sunscreens and gave us recommendations😅😅

we are at the cottage all summer.. my baby will be wearing sunscreen before 6 months even in the shade. I'm just not going to risk having him burn.
