As a bridesmaid in about a dozen weddings so far - I’ve always paid for my own hair and makeup (required or not). I expect to pay for it tbh 🤷🏼♀️

I had to pay for my hair makeup and jewelry in the first wedding I was in. When I planned my wedding I gave my bridesmaids the option for both.

I’m not bridesmaid age yet but I’ll probably do my own makeup but pay for hair given the option, I’d never expect it being paid for, but it’s nice

If you have a diva she’ll require to have both done. It usually is an expected cost for a BM but many brides don’t require it. It’s not important 😏

I am not paying but my bridesmaids aren’t required to get it done. My bridesmaids are all great at doing their hair and makeup that I’m not concerned.

I’ve paid for hair in 5 weddings and my girls paid for their own hair. I’ve never paid to get makeup done and didn’t require it for my girls.
