I’m not saying there aren’t any hotel horror stories but the Airbnb horror stories have scared me out using their services. I will stick with hotels.

stayed in a cabin once. So much work. Basically have to be a house keeper during my whole vacation. That defeats the point for me.

That and people are having bad experiences. Ours was broken into. While the entire neighborhood had security ours was the only place without. iPads

No you’re right, I’ve been an Airbnb host since 2018 and the current inflation is INSANE. The platform jacks up prices during peak travel times.
