I just gave birth 1 1/2 week ago and this happened to my baby and he’s currently in the nicu 😔😔 I’m praying for him , I have faith ! Everything will work out and he will be home !

my brother had this when he was born. meconium aspersation. his lungs shut down and had to be flown 2 another hospital for emergency surgery hes 7 now

Meconium aspiration usually is more common with full term babies. Tell tale sign is a staining around their mouth. And the lack of a strong cry.
