Having pain with seggs or vaginal pelvic penetration? Try using the Intimate Rose Pelvic Wand! As a Board Certified Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist this is something that I recommend to clients ALL the time (and in all transparency, I use one myself) 🦪 This pelvic wand will help to get to the level of the deeper pelvic floor musculature or the third layer which can be incredibly hard to get to using a dilator or your finger alone 🫣 Start by inserting the wand at a neutral orientation so that the beveled edge doesn’t run along your pelvic floor muscles which can hurt 🚨 Once inserted you can turn the handle so that it is pointing upwards to hold while the tip of the wand will be pointing down towards your pelvic floor muscles. You can then gently turn the wand handle side to side which will help to reproduce the manual therapy techniques we often provide during pelvic floor PT appointments for myofascial release. Be sure to modify as needed. It may be uncomfortable, but you don’t want excruciating pain. Try to use every other day gradually building up to 10-15 minutes at a time. Modify as needed or to your level of tolerance. This should start to help with addressing painful seggs or intimacy, especially with deeper thrusting 🍆 This is a tool that can also be used intrarectally or anally, which I’ll talk about in a future post 😉 Questions? Ask below 👇🏼 Save for later and follow @dr.brookorvispt for more pelvic floor, pregnancy and postpartum, and lymphedema and oncology physical therapy tips and tricks✨💕 #pelvicfloorphysicaltherapy #pelvicfloor #pelvicfloordysfunction #pelvicfloorhealth #pelvicfloormuscles #pelvicfloorpt #pelvicfloorphysio #pelvicfloorexercise #physicaltherapy #physicaltherapist #physio #physiotherapy #women #womenshealth #men #menshealth #lgbtq #lgbtq🌈 #lgbtqia #bowel #bowelhealth #postpartum #postpartumjourney #postpartumhealth #postpartumsupport #pregnancy #pregnant #pain #pelvicpain #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainissues #pelvicpaininpregnancy #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #seggs #intimacy #intimate #sexy
