If you don’t have access to lots of card board and don’t want to use plastic, you can kill grass pretty fast with a tarp and then reuse the tarp!

tilling soil isn't actually encouraged anymore!! solarizing is the way to go. tilling is unsustainable and destroys a lot of the soils ecosystem
