Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Immigrants founded 55% of U.S. billion-dollar startups (NFAP). Science & Tech: 43% of U.S. PhD-level scientists and engineers are foreign-born (NSF). AI & STEM: 60% of top U.S. AI companies have at least one immigrant founder (Institute for Progress). Elder Care: Immigrants make up nearly one-third of our home care workforce (KFF). Trump is celebrating this “exodus” as a win. But economically, this is a red flag. We are losing the very workforce that sustains our health system, grows our food, builds our homes, drives our innovation, and takes care of our aging parents.
