@glowyame: i remember when i was a kid (pretty sure before Chemical sunscreen exist or was even a thing), Mineral/Physical sunscreens were these chalky, pasty, heavy cream that my mom forced all over my face & body before my swimming lessons. they smelled like plastic and i swear i grew up being traumatized with mineral spfs thanks to those memories. 😂 anybody else? thank goodness as technologies improved, mineral sunscreens now aren’t the nightmare as they used to be (at least for me). while i understand mineral spfs aren’t for everyone, i personally enjoy them more than chemical sunscreens. most of them leave very minimal white cast on my skin tone, thankfully, and they hold much better under Singapore’s hot weather! the best part is they are immediately effective right after application, so you don’t have to wait >20 mins to go outside like with chemical spfs. they’re acne-prone and sensitive skin-friendly too! 💪🏻here are some mineral sunscreens i love and will recommend to oily skin types with light to medium skin tone. again, i cannot guarantee that they won’t leave any white cast on your skin as every skin is different. always check out the inci list too as different skin reacts differently to certain skincare ingredients.
