I want to go to deisel school after High school. All the shops around me require you to be 18, i’m 17. I’m in automotive school on the high school level right now. What kind of file would yall recommend after deisel school? Heavy equipment? Oil field machines?

grab a service manual it gives you step by step instructions on overhauling (engine work is where it's at no wire chasing lol). The best way to learn is to just go at it take pictures, keep your parts in order easy peasy

On a slightly less related note, who was your truck drives instructor at unoh? And who was your favorite instructor there?

I know it’s not common to do anymore, but do you ever rebuild transmissions or differentials?

Hey man, I know this is late. Wondering if you have some advice I’m currently a lube tech at a 10 minute oil change spot and I got an interview as a diesel mechanic trainee but with the job description sounds like I’m just gonna be cleaning the trucks, ploy them in an hour and doing like a bunch of random work other than turning wrenches wonder if you have advice on whether it’s worth it or not
