since they cheap you can cross hatch the bottom of the shoe with a knife to make it less slippery! its not as pretty but effective!

Definitely break them in before!! A good way is doing chores around the house (vaccum, sweep, etc). The back and forth motion helps!

My mom always taught me to try and base my steps on the fronts of my feet, not the heels. They’re unreliable at best.

when walking up steps put most of your weight in your toes/the ball of your foot so u dont tople back if the heel part misses a step

Ok, I see ppl commenting Heel-Toe, but I was taught TOE FIRST. After practicing that then you can transition to a Heel-Toe balance that works for you.

definitely walk more on your toes, but work on the rhythm of walking toe to heel rather than heel to toe, which is how most ppl walk!
