Agreed— skip prime day, honestly. As for Nordstrom, find some things you like and then trust their sidebar recommendations to find more things u like.

Use camelcamelcamel to check prices to see if it's actually a good deal. Sometimes they artificially inflate prices a few weeks before the 'sales'
