I would blanche the green beans for a minute...or heat your brine really hot & make sure all is covered, then lid immediately. Wait 3 days.

I’ve been canning & pickling for 40 plus years. It’s best to blanch veggies first,just for 30 or so seconds then put in ice bath & they’ll be perfect
