You should be studying organic content more than your competitor’s ads. I don’t mean jumping on every viral trend to hit TikTok, that’s not sustainable and often fails unless you’re insanely fast to replicate. I mean looking and channels like TikTok and Instagram for creative themes and using that to craft an ad strategy specific to those platforms. Example: I see a ton of POV content on instagram with heavy text on screen (using native IG fonts). That would be an example of a creative theme or style that you should try and emulate in your ad creative. Are you advertising a baby product? Follow all the top mom influencers and study how they create their videos. This is why working with content creators can work so well. They are already on the front lines making content that their audience wants to see in the format they consume on already. Make your ads look and feel like the content your audience is consuming.
