A lot of dorms have cement walls, which doesn’t work with push pins, sticky tack or the liek sticky putty works well for most things!

You don’t even need push pins! I forgot the name but I used this sort of “picture tack” it was like play dough and it comes off clean

Concrete block walls—use command hooks or Mavalus tape (that’s what teachers swear by for year-long decor 😊)

If it is a cinder block wall, you can use hot glue without any damage.
