@sooziethefoodie: I finally got to try fresh durian 🥹 This one was from Taiwan. It has almost a savory flavor to it with a custardy texture. The large pods have seeds in the middle. My friend told me her favorite way to eat durian is in crapes with whip cream and you already know I had to try it! Please don’t judge my crepes I only had funnel cake batter 😂 I paired the crapes with a vanilla bean whipped cream, a cherry, and vanilla powder. All of the flavors were really pleasant together.
