As an Autistic Person, you do NOT have to take abuse from anyone for ANY reason!! Even if the abuse is coming from authority figures, and you absolutely CAN stand up for yourself if you ever become the victim of harassment or abuse. in this video, I describe a situation that happened at one of my favorite bowling alley used to go to (I still go every week) when one of the security guards they are harassed me for using the bathroom after closing. And also how the owner was willing to help me out by talking to his team about treating customers, especially autistic customers with respect, and addressing the issue to the company, the security guard was contracted with. I’m really proud of how I handled the situation, and how the owner of the bowling alley is dealing with it. Addressing the issue with the jersey Lanes staff, taking steps to make sure it never happens again. And to be clear, this is NOT to bash the Bowling Alley, or security guard, in any way, this is just me explaining how I handled a difficult situation maturely, and how you should handle it if you ever find yourself in a similar situation as an autistic person.
