why didn't you scoop pips out? you never buy them like that? just bought a dehydrator myself, once my tomatoes grow I will be doing same.

Try a preheat panel. Air passes between black painted panels. will help speed things up.

try making your air flow lower. that way you get higher heat witch make air hold more moisture.

you could try finding an old rear projection TV and putting the lense from it over the dehydrator to dehydrate in more normal British weather!
