Recovery is essential, especially when you load the body in a bunch of different ways. No matter what sleep is #1 then we got diet #2, but you can get great sleep with no $ investment, so GET GOOD SLEEP! Movement is my next one #3 and this is more aimed towards mobility/yoga movement to address things that aren’t being addressed in training programs, promote more muscle synthesis and quick recovery times. After that I’d say if you can sauna that’s my #4 3-4x a week 20 min each time you’re getting so much out of it. Oxygen #5 is my next favorite just because after prolonged use you really start to notice a difference in recovery times, injuries not hitting as hard as they usually would and brain fog cleared up so deff a game changer. I feel like cold plunging is more of the mental battle for me personally but it gives me a sharpness and alertness I don’t get anywhere else. I’m a big fan of contrast therapy between a hot and cold tub also. A great thing about all of these is your making space and time for not only your body but your mind as well.
