Hard-hitting. This is the lane I'm in. This is my content and niche. This is how I've grown a big audience on SM platforms and established a fan base. This is who I am and what I do. I appreciate it's a specific style of performance and certainly not for everyone. I appreciate it doesn't appeal to everyone and of course certain subject matters can be raw and triggering for people if they have experienced something similar, this is why some of my content is designed as "Awareness" to help shine a light on some of the unimaginable or challenging experiences people go through every day with mental health, ptsd, heartbreak, loss and grief. And believe me when I say I've had my fair share of the above experiences either within my own life and within my family and friendship circle. Fundamentally, what some people struggle to understand or accept with my content is the fact that I'm an actor (trained professionally at a London drama school and have been in actual British feature films, music videos, commercials, etc) but because I am using the SM platforms to tell my stories, somehow this is wrong or offensive (in the eyes of some people). Apparently, playing out scenarios on camera only counts as acting when it is a famed actor playing their role in the presence of a director, producer and cast members. But me doing the same thing; playing a character and telling a story on my personal phone camera as a content creator is apparently wrong or not classed as acting. When you watch tv shows (drama), or soaps, or dramatic movies, do you never see stories about the subjects I play out in my videos?
