Why do truck pto’s wear on the trans more than tractor pto’s? Is it because a lot of tractors use hydraulic pto’s rather than mechanical?

You can also see the top of the gear is bent over like the top of tooth is hitting the base of the countershaft gear ✌️

Lol when I worked in a diesel shop I seen this exactly happen! Turns out it had to due with the pto gasket being to thin!

We've had problems with PTO's disengaging or just start grinding super hard, if it's a swimming problem how do you check that
