Macros per burrito: Calories: 265 Protein: 37 Fat: 9 Carbs: 6 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 Ingredients: • 32 ounces lean ground beef • 1/4 onion diced small • 1 packet cheesy taco seasoning • 1/2 cup blended low fat cottage cheese • 1/2 tsp onion powder • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/4 cup hot sauce ( I used Taco Bell brand hot sauce) • 1 cup fat free cheddar cheese • 10 low carb burrito size flour tortillas • Avocado spray Instructions: • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the lean ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any excess fat. • Add the cheesy taco seasoning to the beef and onion mixture. Follow the package instructions for the amount of water needed for the seasoning mix (typically about 1/4-1/2 cup of water). Allow it to simmer until it thickens and forms a flavorful meat mixture. • to the meat mixture add the blended low-fat cottage cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, hot sauce, and fat-free cheddar cheese. Mix well to create a creamy, cheesy, and slightly spicy filling mixture. • Warm the low-carb burrito-size flour tortillas in the microwave or stove top according to the package instructions. • Lay out a tortilla and spoon a generous portion of the cheesy beef mixture onto the tortilla, leaving some space around the edges. • Fold the sides of the tortilla in towards the center, and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to create a burrito. • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly spray with avocado oil. • Place the assembled burritos on the skillet or griddle, seam-side down, and cook until they are golden brown and crispy, usually about 2-3 minutes per side. • Remove the burritos from the skillet and let them cool for a moment. • For meal prep, I like wrapping the burritos individually in aluminum foil and freezing them. • To reheat you can add them directly into the air fryer or remove the aluminum foil and microwave for about 90 seconds. #heavytomodified #modifiedmacros #highprotein #highprotinefood #fastfoodvshomemade #weightlossjourney
