this!! I usually have my dog in a heel for a couple minutes every walk but that's just because he's still learning or when passing other dogs/animals

my boy gets to walk in front so long as the leash is slack, once he pulls he's on heel for a bit

We're still working on loose lead walking, but walking to heel doesn't really work for me. I end up stepping into Pads or step on her paws, so 1/2

tbh, I actually prefer for my dog to be in front. i can keep a better eye on him and avoid running into him. even when he's working

On most of our walks, I have and encourage my dog to pull. Keeps me moving, and it’s more of an exercise for her to haul me forward.

I think of walking in a heel the same as holding a kids hand. also I always just found it rude for my dogs to walk w/o me, it's our time together

Yes!!!! We always get bombarded at this one petco we go to by the “trainers” there that try to impose puppy classes on us just because I let avka walk
