Word of advice to those interested in this, using a clear acrylic pipe vs pvc will be to your advantage. If it clogs you don’t need to disassemble

watch out for socks and plastic bags. my parents had one, until mom went to vacuum near the dog bed and she sucked up a sock and plastic bag. 😥😥🤣🤣

My cosmetology school had central vac. The canister looked just like that but we had 12x12 trap doors in the floor to sweep into.
