All microwaves are different wattage. 30 seconds on one is like cooking 1 min on the another microwave.

the time you microwave is also dependant on the microwave , some you need less time, some you need a few seconds more

The egg would only explode if the shell was on. Because pressure builds up on the inside of the shell, with nowhere to go it'll explode
