For me the frustrating part was while the color overlays did help me to stay on the line. They did nothing for my speed and compression.

It works for me because i have visual processing aswell which caused the page to be uneseceraly bright and all gibberish to mine brain it calms my eyes so i concentrate more on individual words

yep, same, I got into typography in college because I found that sarif fonts help my brain see the words better. In a world of Helvetia I am doomed 😂
