In Finland schools homework has been abolished, for this exact reason and now have the top academic kids in the world.

As a middle primary teacher, I agree. We work the kids hard at school, let them learn through play at home! I do encourage reading for enjoyment ❤️

Teacher here 🙋🏻♀️we hate giving out homework too. When parents ask what they should do with their kids I always say talk and read to them.

In Finland a fee years ago they transformed their failing school system. The first thing they abolished was homework!
