A rheumatologist is one who specializes in arthritis and fibro. Your GP can also diagnose providing they use the pressure points.

I have found a Nurse practitioner that cares but she wants me to see a psychiatrist . Through my life I have been to many doctors about my pain.

I have been diagnosed by a rheumatologist and he has been no help at all he thinks it’s in my head . All that helps is Ibuprofen and muscle relaxers

I believe it’s only a formal diagnosis if it’s from a rheumatologist, I could be wrong. Always seek a second opinion, it’s your body
