I tell my dogs I love them always. I would never be embalmed or autopsied. I just had my sweet fur baby die at 19. He was Auquamated.

Trade embalmer here. I definitely see the value in being embalmed and wouldn’t deny my loved ones the opportunity to see me at rest.
