When the Taliban took over, she lost everything. This experimental short film blends nightmare, dream, and fantasy to document Manizha's harrowing real-life journey through two years of deep depression after fleeing her homeland. Director Zahra Abbasi artfully captures the psychological battle of losing one's identity and the ultimate triumph of reclaiming it through resistance. This is not just Manizha's story; it is a rallying cry for global solidarity. She is not alone in this fight.
