I wish they'd make up their mind. This can be really helpful for some as the flow helps some but it's awful for those who can't do it.

As a teacher, both. Some students taught cursive can't read or write printed and visa versa. They should be able to choose and experiment.

I think the way handwriting is taught is stupid. I have a friend who in primary school was marked down for the fact that she did not join up her 1/2

Cursive is a nightmare. By the time they get to secondary, if they can’t do it & are still trying, handwriting is illegible

I agree, my daughter is desperate for her pen license, in my opinion she has lovely cursive hand writing but the standard is ridiculous, my son has 1
