I know it’s hard to think about now, but there are services that will let you say goodbye at home, and most will do a paw print and keepsakes for you

I did this with my cats Nechi and Mushu. They lived to be 17 and 19 and it’s a lovely keepsake. I also got professional portraits of them too!
